About the Event

The weather outside might be frightful, but that makes winter walking and running all the more delightful!  A chilly walk or run gets you outside, brings you into the present, relieves stress, and gives you some much needed ‘me’ time in a hectic season.

Walking and running are surprisingly accessible to beginners.  If you’ve been wanting to add some movement to your winter and have wondered how, this talk is for you!  

In this 60 minute Zoom clinic with RRCA-certified Coach Michelle Poirot, we’ll explore the 3 things you need to start and keep walking or running this winter. It’s simpler than you think! Whether or not you've enjoyed winter movement in the past, these beginner-friendly techniques will get you moving and keep you motivated.  We'll also be sure to talk about winter gear that will keep you safe and warm. We’ll have ample time for questions.  

Michelle has been coaching beginner-level training groups since 2014 and thinks the best thing in the world is watching new walkers and runners cross the finish line of their first 5K.  She is passionate about making movement fun and sustainable so that all women in all bodies can feel confident and joyful.
